The Program
Goal Indentification
My program is primarily geared towards players aged 12 and up who are committed to the goal of playing NCAA Div I golf with a strong desire to play professionally. Let’s get you there!
Current Performance
To start the process, I will want to see current swing videos…to see where your current skill level is. I will ask for a recent playing resume to assess where you are in the skill/results tree. We will immediately look for an event where I can come watch you play. I prefer watching players play a couple times per year.
I utilize a swing video app as well as a stat tracking app. I will ask that all my players sign up for these and list me as their coach so I can track your development.
Practice Mindset
Skill development is the key to trust…and trust is the key to playing instinctively…playing instinctively is key to playing to the best of your ability. I will work with you and your current swing coach in the development of your practice sessions.
Game Mindset
“In the flow”, “in rhythm” …this is where you are the best version of you, where the trust you’ve built in skill building leads to instinctively playing the game…”in the zone”
Constant Consultation
My program includes two in person days per year. I travel with Austin almost every week he plays and have more than enough time available each week to meet in person at or near PGA Tour events. I set aside Tuesdays of tournament weeks as my day to work with him. Monday and Wednesdays are travel and pro-am days and I am available to meet with you. I will stay and watch him play at PGA Tour events when I’m not traveling to see one of my players. Feel free to communicate with me by text or email while I’m with him at PGA Tour events…this can be a great way for me to communicate and educate players on the processes of getting there!
My program also includes two phone or video calls per month as well as unlimited texts and emails…I like hearing from players before during and after competitive rounds. I follow all of the different junior, amateur and college websites so I’ll be watching!
Scheduling
Whether local, national or both…I will help you create a schedule that challenges and highlights your current skill level and intended goals. Getting started in the AJGA can be complicated and intimidating…having been there and done that, I can help you successfully navigate this process. Keep in mind playing a national schedule isn’t necessary!
